Towards2030-dialogue Regional Workshop in Budapest, 7 June 2016
Towards2030-dialogue Regional Workshop was organised in Budapest by REKK within the framework of Central and South East Europe Energy Policy Forum: Regional vision of EU-level renewable energy governance and effort sharing for 2030.
This Policy Forum provides a unique opportunity for high-level ministry representatives and other relevant stakeholders to remark on the conceptualization and outlook of regional renewable energy target setting for 2030. The Keynote Speaker was Jos Delbeke, Director General for Climate Action of the European Commission.
The discussion was premised on the Towards2030 policy papers:
- Issue Paper #2: Implementing the EU 2030 Climate and Energy Framework – a closer look at renewables and opportunities for an Energy Union
- Issue Paper #4: The EU 2030 Framework for renewables – effective effort sharing through public benchmarks
